If your site reaches its monthly page-view limit, tracking pauses until the next month or until you increase capacity. Paid plans increase capacity and add features: * **Basic:** $4.95/month or $49.50/year; up to 10,000 page views per month and six months of report history. * **Plus:** $9.95/month or $99.50/year; up to 100,000 page views per month and 12 months of history, with navigation and click-path reports, time-on-site and bounce rates. * **Pro:** $19.95/month or $199.50/year; up to 300,000 page views per month and 24 months of history, with conversions, custom events and downtime monitoring. * **Max:** $49.95/month or $499.50/year; up to 500,000 page views per month and 60 months of history. The plugin connects your WordPress site to Web-Stat; analytics data is processed on Web-Stat’s servers, not stored solely in your WordPress database. A Web-Stat account is required and is set up when you install the plugin. The tracking code sends visit information to Web-Stat, including page URLs, referrers, IP addresses and browser/device details. Location is estimated from IP addresses. Optional features can collect information about signed-in users when enabled. Site owners should describe their use of analytics in their site’s privacy notice and configure tracking for their visitors as appropriate. [[ [[ ## Installation 1. In WordPress, open Plugins > Add New and search for Web-Stat. 2. Install and activate the plugin. It sets up a Web-Stat account and starts tracking your site. 3. Open Web-Stat in the WordPress admin menu or click View My Stats to see your visits. 4. Visit Web-Stat > Settings to adjust tracking or account settings. ## FAQ ### Do I need a separate Web-Stat account? Yes. Installing the plugin sets up a Web-Stat account for your site. You can open your stats through WordPress or on the Web-Stat website. ### Are my analytics stored in my WordPress database? No. The plugin sends visit data to the Web-Stat hosted service, where your reports are processed. See the privacy links in the description above. ### Is the free plan really free? Yes. The free plan includes up to 5,000 page views per month, the latest 50 visits and one month of report history. It was easily the best web statistics program around (and still is)…but we wanted the additional information provided by the Pro version. I think we upgraded to the pro version around 3 months after using the free version. The Pro version is hands down worth wayyyy more than the $9.95 we pay each month for the amount of information we can see from every single website visit!!! We're currently averaging between 80-150 visits to our site per day, and Web-Stat shows us EVERYTHING we want to know, and presents it in SUCH a logical and comprehensive manner!! We've tried other web analytics plugins in the past (probably 8-10 of them)… and NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM can hold a candle to Web-Stat in terms of functionality, ease of use, and presentation. Oh, and the customer service couldn't be any better!! The response times are quick, and the answers are friendly and thorough! I like that!We're users for life!! If you're on the fence about this software, don't be! You can spend hours and hours installing and testing other analytics programs, but you won't find one that comes anywhere CLOSE to what Web-Stat offers! Something that must be classified as questionable from the perspective of data protection. I think, if they want to use your eMail address they have to ask for.
